Company History
Tanks and Things was started in March of 2026 by Donnyel Rowe and Kevin Vogel. In past ventures with Piedmont Military Vehicles, we created large model displays for public education that we brought to events with our vehicles. Three things came out of these shows:
1. People asked for us to sell our models or parts. As Tanks and Things, we can now produce and sell the models.
2. The cost of the displays comes out of our personal pockets and can run in the thousands each year. Selling tank models can help off set that cost burden.
3. We started using 1:16 RC tanks for our displays. We were limited to the tank models available to us. Printing out our own models vastly expanded our display. Also going from 1:16 to 1:24 dimension let us add more tanks per table.
